Cabo del Sol

Cabo del Sol is one of the founding communities of Los Cabos luxury real estate, a 1,800-acre master-planned development on the Cabo Corridor that has shaped the region's identity as a world-class golf and resort destination since 1994. Its two championship courses set the standard against which all others in the region are measured, and a sustained wave of new development including branded hotel residences, a private beach and golf club, and a luxury retail and dining village is positioning Cabo del Sol as one of the most actively evolving communities on the Corridor.

Lifestyle

The Cove Club Golf Course, formerly the Ocean Course, is the centerpiece of life at Cabo del Sol. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, who called it "the best golf property I've ever seen," it has ranked consistently among the top 100 courses in the world since opening in 1994. The course is now private, reserved for Cove Club members and their guests, with four holes directly engaging the Sea of Cortez coastline and the signature 17th requiring a tee shot from a clifftop over a rocky cove. The companion Cabo del Sol Course, the redesigned Tom Weiskopf original, remains open to resort guests and visitors. Beyond the courses, Cabo del Sol's lifestyle has expanded considerably. Anima Village brings more than 84 luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Cartier alongside a range of dining options, establishing a retail and hospitality anchor within the community that adds genuine day-to-day richness to the address.

Access & Setting

Cabo del Sol occupies roughly 1,800 acres along the western section of the Cabo Corridor, positioned between Cabo San Lucas and the midpoint of the highway, with two miles of Sea of Cortez coastline including one of the few swimmable beaches on this section of the Corridor. The community's scale means neighborhoods vary considerably in character: ocean-facing enclaves sit close to the beach club and hotel zone, while golf-side neighborhoods set further inland offer fairway views, elevated desert terrain, and a quieter residential atmosphere. Los Cabos International Airport is approximately 35 to 40 minutes by car. The main entrance is directly off the Transpeninsular Highway (Mex-1), and the community is fully gated with 24-hour security. Cabo San Lucas is a short drive west, providing access to the marina, restaurants, and city services without the longer transfer typical of mid-Corridor addresses.

Amenities & Buyer Fit

The amenity program at Cabo del Sol is organized around the Cove Club, which provides private beach club access, golf, and a full social and concierge program for members. The Cabo del Sol Course offers an additional public golf experience, and Anima Village supplies the retail and dining infrastructure. Tennis, fitness, and a growing event calendar round out the on-site offering. The Park Hyatt Resort, open since 2025, and the forthcoming Soho House add hospitality anchors that elevate the community's overall profile. Residential product spans a wide range of typologies and price points across several distinct neighborhoods. Cove Club represents the community's premium tier: private oceanfront and golf-front estates and residences with direct club access, among the highest-value properties on the Corridor. Las Colinas is the most active golf-front villa neighborhood, with a deep inventory of custom single-family homes. Brisas provides a mid-market single-family offering with strong community character and Corridor access. Park Hyatt Residences delivers branded hospitality-backed ownership within the community at the top of the market.
